Ho-Ho-Ho !! Santa has arrived in Royal Oak !! On Saturday, November 17, 2007, the Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority held its 6th annual Holiday Parade. It was a special day of celebration. The many parade sponsors included: Motor City Casino, Our Credit Union, Andiamo Osteria, Hollywood Market, Aqua Salon, Dale & Thomas Popcorn, Starbucks Coffee, National City Bank, Rocket Copy and Print Shop, Fifth Avenue, Royal Oak Restaurant Association, Hagopian, Windsor Parade Corporation, Detroit Free Press, WROK, Magic 105.1, Hour Detroit Magazine, Fox 2 WJBK, and In Play! Thousands of people came out to see the floats, bands, and many other parade participants.
