In 1980, Roger Soulliere established Soulliere Decorative Stone, Inc. Earlier in his life, Roger learned about the landscape business while growing up on his father�s sod farm which was located on what is now a residential area in Utica. Roger wanted to do something different � so he started laying brick pavers even though pavers were not popular back then. However, when the brick paver industry took off in the early 90�s, Roger already had years of experience installing pavers and he used this experience to build his company into the largest paver installation company in Michigan. Not long after Roger started Soulliere Decorative Stone � his business grew so fast that he needed the help of his family. His brother, Michael joined him in 1985 as Vice President and head of their sales team. Their sister, Carol joined as their financial controller. (Michael has since retired and Carol still remains at the organization.) Today, Soulliere Decorative Stone is a full service organization providing outdoor landscape construction and maintenance services. Since Soulliere Decorative Stone is all about providing quality work, the company has put in the tools and resources in place.
