Originator Sloane Barbour passed the business to former employee and life-long Pointer Roger Mason Jr. in April. “We carry a full range of models of TV and sound systems from Sony, Samsung, Yamaha, Jamo, Pioneer, Monitor Audio and JBL,” says Roger. “In fact, Pointe Electronics is the nation’s oldest Sony dealer.” he adds proudly. HD, 3-D, and enhancements in sound system technology have made home TV and movie watching much more exciting and often preferable to taking the family out for a movie night. According to Roger, the big revolution now is to Wi-Fi or internet hardwire capabilities that will stream movies from a provider like Netflix directly to your TV in 30 seconds.
