Independence Grove

Independence Grove is a part of the Lake County Forest Preserves and offers outdoor recreation and education opportunities centered on a 115-acre lake. Surrounding prairie and woodlands provide a picturesque backdrop for hiking, biking, picnicking and other fun activities such as a swimming, fishing and boating. It also offers a children's playground and a native garden.
