Marney Rich Keenan
Audience Q&A with the Author of The Snow Killings
Thursday, May 25
7 pm
Via Zoom

Marney Rich Keenan joins the Ferndale Library on May 25, via Zoom, to discuss her book, The Snow Killings: Inside the Oakland County Child Killer Investigation.

The Oakland County child murders spawned a panic across southeast Michigan in the mid-1970s, leading to one of the most extensive manhunts in U.S. history, all of which was captivatingly detailed in The Snow Killings by Marney Rich Keenan. After less than two years into their investigation, the task force initially created to find the killer was shut down without naming a suspect.

On Thursday, May 25, the Ferndale Library encourages anyone still curious about this cold case to sign up for their Zoom event to meet Marney.
The Shop Floor Solution to Employee Turnover
Free Webinar | May 21, 2021 | 1:00PM EST

Questions around employee turnover continue to swirl around the conference rooms and HR offices of manufacturing companies across the country. How do we attract good workers? How do we keep them? What’s wrong with today’s workforce? How can we stop the “churn”?

A lot of solutions are being offered up and at the same time, there seems to be no clear answer to the problem of high turn-over, short stays, and no-show workers.

This webinar will explore another piece of the puzzle: how front-line leaders impact retention. Based on 30+ years of manufacturing experience, John Keuning, Express Employment Professionals Director of Manufacturing Training, will explore how our front-line leaders are the voice and face of the company and how their interaction can help make or break an employee’s decision to stay or leave.

Date: May 21, 2021
Time: 1:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
This webinar qualifies for 1 HRCI and SHRM recertification credit.
