It's time to enjoy the good life--at Cork Wine Pub
We are a wine pub featuring a list of over one hundred wines all of which are available for retail purchase in our bottle shop. Our cocktail list is inspired by the classics and the fresh seasonal styles of the west coast. Our thoughtful menu is composed of small plates, a few well-chosen entrees as well as a butterscotch pudding that has already been called 'iconic'. Whenever possible, our menu is sourced from local purveyors.
We accept reservations for groups of six or more. Call ahead to check on the wait and be added to the wait list.

Bios
Nancy Crutchfield, Proprietor Nancy loves people, food and wine and Cork is the manifestation of all these things coming together under one roof. At nineteen years old, Nancy trained as a garde manger chef at a fine dining establishment in Troy. She was fascinated and hooked by things she had never known, things that seemed exotic like hearts of palm, bibb lettuce and rhum baba. After working in kitchens and then as a server, bartender, and manager for 20 years, Nancy went to work for General Motors. After 10 years as a design center program manager, Nancy took a buyout in October 2009 to complete the Cork restaurant project in Pleasant Ridge. A Pleasant Ridge resident for thirteen years, Nancy enjoys supporting the community by being a member and activist of the Pleasant Ridge Foundation, Women's Club and Social Club. Nancy has an art degree from Wayne State University and an MBA from Walsh College, so Cork satisfies her passion for both art and business.
Ruben Blake Griffin, Executive Chef Ruben earned his degree from the California Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu, San Francisco. A native of Ferndale, Ruben has been with Cork since opening night-- Thanksgiving 2010. In his words, "I started off as a line cook but grabbed the bull by its horns and became executive chef. I enjoy what I do because I get to work directly with local farmers and highlight Michigan produce, and we have some of the best in the country! It's a hard, demanding and very gratifying job, and I am blessed to be doing what I'm doing, where I'm doing it. Currently, I live in Oak Park, a seven minute bike ride from my work. Go Green!"
