About Us

Racing for Kids is a national charity that draws upon the popularity of motorsports to garner attention and funding for the health care needs of children and child health institutions. The program has several activities designed to meet its goals: Hospital Visits, Kids-at-the-Track Days and Fundraising for Children's Hospitals. The Racing for Kids team of celebrity racecar drivers visits thousands of sick children at hospitals nationwide, bringing smiles and cheers with them. Racing for Kids also brings young outpatients and their families and friends to the racetrack to experience the thrill and excitement of open wheel racing. Finally, the program has distributed more than $200,000 to hospitals, helping to equip hospital playrooms with theapeutic toys and games as well as contributing to advanced care in pediatric cardiology and other child health programs.
