| | | | About Us | Galeria Mariposa is the new gallery and studio of local artist and sculpting teacher Estela Monjo Boudreau. The studio name reflects both Estela,s Argentinean heritage and her interest in the human transformative process represented by the butterfly "Mariposa" in Spanish.
Galeria Mariposa features a variety of Monjo's sculpted pieces, in classical and contemporary forms, including three dimensional portraits, classic sculptures of the human figure, and bas reliefs in bronze and other mediums. Her creations include portrait commissions and pieces that are celebrations of the female form and the empowerment of women.
As a working studio, the gallery will also feature Estela?s sculptures in progress as well as works of other local artists and the students in her sculpting classes. Galeria public hours are afternoons or by appointment.
