The grand opening complete with a juried art show, dubbed "Art on the Move," and a tour of the facilities was held on January 23. The new location, with almost twice as much space as the old facility, features a gallery, gift shop and studio space for art classes.
The Art Center is one of the oldest non-profit organizations in the community, dating back to 1927. Its mission is to promote and stimulate artistic talent and engage in community services. Membership to the center is open to anyone interested in supporting the arts. The center also has a student membership for ages 6 - 22.
