About Us
The Neighborhood Club celebrates 100 years in 2011.

The Neighborhood Club is THE place for area kids and adults to go for professionally-organized programs such as soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, t-ball and flag football. Other activities like aerobics, gymnastics, fencing and computer education take place at its community center.

Another popular program is the Neighborhood Club Nursery School. This top-notch program is for children ages three to five years old. Enrollment begins in the winter and the spots fill up quickly.

The Neighborhood Club?s hidden jewel is the Thrift Shop. Whether you?re a thrift shop aficionado or have never stepped foot into a resale shop, you?ve got to come check it out. There are clothes from stores such as Ann Taylor, Chico?s and Talbots, some with the price tags still attached. Men and children will find high quality and fashionable clothing as well. The Thrift Shop also sells housewares and jewelry. Donations are taken daily during shop hours.

One of the Neighborhood Club?s goals is to provide top quality programs at affordable prices. As a non-profit organization, it depends on donations and the revenue from the Thrift Shop to help support its programs. The staff at the Neighborhood Club is grateful to everyone who has contributed either financially or by volunteering their time and talents to help operate a program.

The Neighborhood Club began in 1911 as a community service organization formed to address social problems in the fields of health, welfare and recreation, something that is still central to its mission.

Thank you for your interest in the Neighborhood Club. We hope you will share our enthusiasm for the community and be a part of our organization for many years to come. Visit www.neighborhoodclub.org to learn more.
