Optik Birmingham is a unique optical boutique. Owner, Optometrist Joe Ales, has created a hip and comfortable store that specializes in a wide variety of eyeware and accessories in addition to full optometry services. At Optik, you can find never-worn vintage eyewear as well as a broad selection of exclusive contemporary designer lines. Optik also carries a variety of vintage accessories such as art deco 1920s bakelite necklaces, 1950s-70s purses, and other objects d'art. Dr. Joe, an avid collector, finds many of his rare and unusual pieces in Europe--Munich, Austria and Hungary.
