The Arthritis Foundation is the only voluntary health agency in Michigan providing for educational research and improved treatment for the more than 100 forms of Arthritis. The Foundation offers Michigan residents arthritis awareness programs, scientific research, public and professional education, and various other community services. The first local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation was formed at the University of Michigan in 1948. Today, the Foundation’s mission is as important as ever as we continue to combat the nation's most debilitating disease throughout the State of Michigan.
